Next Day Burning was originally formed in June of 2007, by Dave Bavido and Bob Pieroni. Along with 2 other members, the band started off heavy, but needed direction. After a few member changes & new ideas, NDB was reborn in February 2008 and ready to rock.
The band consists of: Christopher Medina on vocals & guitars
Bob Pieroni on bass & backing vocals
Frank Cira on Lead & Rhythm guitars
Johnnie Manglardi on Lead & Rhythm guitars & backing vocals
Dave Bavido on drums
With this lineup, the band is mixing the basics of rock with the technicality of metal. The unique sound is building a fan base and the support for NDB is growing. The band calls Huntley, IL home, a northwest suburb of Chicago.
The band influences include: Alice in Chains, Godsmack, Metallica, AlterBridge, Machine Head, Chimaira, and Seether, to name a few. NDB has released a 2 song demo and is getting ready to release a 6 song e.p. due out Summer of 2009.
Next Day Burning placed second out of 60 bands in 95 Wiil Rock's Bandemonium.
