About me: Next Generation is a non-profit organization that does lunch clubs in public schools around the New Orleans area. We talk to students about all kinds of life issues & give away tons of free pizza & candy! Lunch Club Days: MONDAY- East Jefferson, Higgins, Meisler Middle, Schwartz Alternative. TUESDAY-Bonnabel, Helen Cox, Cohen, Fountain Bleu High, Bunche Academy, Haynes Academy. WEDNESDAY- Grace King, John Ehret. THURSDAY- West Jefferson, Fountainbleu JHS, Hahnville High, Destrehan, Northshore High, McMain High. FRIDAY- Mandeville High, Covington High.
T1 is an effort to challenge students and adults to pray every Tuesday at 1:00 pm. This is a commitment to pray for spiritual awakening on middle school and high school campuses across Greater New Orleans, LA. We are asking those who participate to pray for the Lord to move in their personal lives and in turn that they will have the opportunity to share Christ with those around them on a daily basis.
Preparation—Here are some ideas to help you pray for spiritual awakening:
· Commit to pray for God to move in your own life.
· Commit to pray for spiritual awakening among students and adults across Greater New Orleans.
· Gather with an accountability partner, explain the movement to them, pray with them, and commit to pray on a weekly basis.
· Begin journaling and listing your prayer requests.
· Spend time in the scripture to help you pray for a spiritual awakening.
Consider fasting each Tuesday.
