Nexus was a musical trio when it was originally formed in 1983 by Rick Ledford, Jim Rivers and Joe Farrell. They performed in many folk clubs throughout the Connecticut Valley and northern Worcester County for several years, including the Iron Horse, the Peterborough Inn, the Mole's Eye and the Green River Cafe. The group reformed in 1988 as a quartet featuring Bob Rosser on lead guitar and the three-part vocal harmonies of Rick, Jim and bassist Lefty Cullen as it continued performing in many venues from Boston to the Valley. They have recently reunited after a ten-year period of pursuing individual musical interests.
