I'm a selfthought bassplayer that tryes to make the music i would like to hear but never does.
It's all instrumental. Instrumental music is sadly underrated and i have so much to say that i let the MUSIC do ALL the talking. Good lyrics are very important and my lyrics isn't, in my wiew, good enough, they seem to be to pretentious and abstract.
I like to explore "simple" harmonies, often in minor. To see how far i can stretch and use the "simple" harmonies!! In some way it's much harder to make a really GOOD song with three chords than fourtyseven!
I started to play when i was 15. Stinking of patchouli and wearing palestineshawl and samiboots among seventyeight other patchoulistinking, palestineshawl and samibootswearing people sitting in lotusposition in the cannabismist of Mariahissen, in a pathetic effort to change the world.
(Mariahissen was a very popular venue in the late 70's and early 80's at Södermalm in Stockholm).
The first real band i played in, called "Rakt av" started as a jazzrockband with three guitars, bass and drums.
One guitarist left and thanks to "Dag Vag" we started to play rock, reggae, ska and some funk. This was in the late 70's and early 80's.
Then i got lost. Drugs, drugs and drugs. My life went down the drain! The years between
1982 to 1992 is a TOTAL darkness. I tried to play in different bands mainly rock and some progressive but i could'nt play with or without drugs.
Now i have been clean since 1993 and started to play again a couple of years later.
But i have almost never been able to play my OWN music because many musicians that i know don't understand
how to play my songs(?!).
So i have to do it by myself.
But i'm searching musicians who are on the same level so that i can play my music live!
