NFD have a distinguished rock background. They comprise Tony Pettitt, the Fields Of The Nephilim founder-bassist, who teamed up with vocalist/guitarist Peter Bob White and drummer Simon Rippin when the Nephilim reunion floundered in 2002. Simon was previously in both The Nefilim and Fields of the Nephilim line-ups, as well as together with Bob in Sensorium. For live gigs they bring in two extra guitarists, Chris Milden and Steve Carey.
Their Nephilim roots gave them immediate attention from that bands still devoted following, but press reviews surpassed any casual goodwill. NFDs No Love Lost simply devastates and lays waste to every other gothic wannabe band of the last decade. Some of the best gothic rock music produced since the late 80s was Rock Sounds verdict. Metal Hammer said: An absolute must-have. And Germanys Sonic Seducer called it Possibly THE gothrock album of the year. The German press in particular have got behind the band with regular features in Zillo, Orkus & Sonic Seducer magazines.
NFD have performed at numerous festivals, both in the UK (Whitby headline, Dark City, Witchfest) and Germany (Mera Luna, Zillo, Wave-Gotik Treffen, Burgnachte, Herbsnachte) and toured UK & Europe on their own and with Mortiis, Umbro Et Imago & The Mission.
We are happy to see a good year go towards a good end. Again we will be playing our Christmas Show in the Moscow Megasphere - and that really makes us happy. The Moscow crowd is one of the best in the world and we would love to have you all with is. It's gonna be one hell of a rock party!

Malaise was the headling act of this years Gothenburg Gothic Gathering, the gothic festival that takes place in Gothenburg (Sweden) every year on Halloween night .
The band, despite the recent line up changes, was in top shape and performed some of their classic hits in an uncompromising, fresh and energetic way that swept the audience of its feet ! A new, unreleased song was included in the setlist which spread waves of enthusiasm, giving a hint of how great the new album will sound. Modern gothic rock at its best!

All the people attending the festival (local as well as foreing visitors from the Greek street team) were delighted to witness the band's mindblowing performance and are looking forward to Malaise's new album, which is currently in the recording process
