I am a linux and open source advocate. I enjoy testing different distributions to see what each offers. On my main computer I am currently running Kubuntu 8.04 LTS Which is excellent! For a desktop ditribution I like the Debian based distros. It makes Vista look like a bad joke...an expensive bad joke ;-}

Happy Valentine's Day. I ate the required pound of dark chocolates from an exquisitly fine western european country. Then discovered that the shamrock shake is back. Did you know that they have the McRib in Frankfurt Germany? Not here, but in Germany! Tell the boss I said HVD to her, too.

You know what I've discovered? Florida is REALLY far away. I mean it's like far! And you know what else? Staying up for over 36 hours and driving for 18 of those hours straight through is tiring!! AND (I learned a lot) CT is fun to drive in as is GA. Maryland is not. It's actually quite stressful. More later
