Céad míle fáilte! Now in production for its eighth year on September 13 & 14, 2008 -- the Niagara Celtic Heritage Festival and Highland Games is the Niagara Region's premier Celtic event. Held in beautiful Olcott Beach, NY, where Rt. 78 (Transit Rd.) meets Lake Ontario, our lakeside location is just the first of many features that makes this event truly special. Our dedicated team of volunteers has worked very hard since the festival's founding in 2001 to create a family-friendly atmosphere where anyone with a connection or interest in any aspect of Celtic culture can join together in celebration and fellowship. We hope that all our friends -- new and old -- will use this space to help spread the word! Check out our group page at http://groups.myspace.com/niagaraceltic to post your comments and suggestions -- we want to know how to make this year's festival better than ever!!
Who I'd like to meet: Anyone with a connection or interest in any aspect of Celtic culture. We're always looking for new friends to attend, athletes to compete, talented performers of all kinds, storytellers, traditional craftspeople, and merchants of quality Celtic merchandise.
We had a great time at the Niagara Celtic Heritage Festival last weekend! It was a little chilly but the crowd was grand, the craic was high, and we had a lot of fun playing, meeting some new friends, and catching up with friends we haven’t seen in a long time. Thanks for having us back again this year. NCHF is one of the best organized and most enjoyable festivals in the area.
The FESTIVAL ROCKED........We loved it! Everyone did a wonderful job......seemed as if it was a successful year! Just as predicated NO VOICE LEFT.......so worth it!
