About me: Why do all these sites start with something that says "About Me?" Don't they know that it's not about me...just ask Max Lucado. (A little religion book humor for those of you who don't get it.) I am a late-twentysomethings Youth Pastor who is married to the most absolutely amazing, wonderful, beautiful woman in the world. She is a gift to me from an amazingly good God. While I am not your typical "minister," I love God and love people, espcially teenagers and desire to see the two connect in a relevant and real way. Most people tell me that I don't look or act like a "preacher" and that is a compliment. Basically, I am just an everyday guy trying to live my life as a good husband, a caring friend, and a follower of Jesus. Sometimes I get it right and sometimes I don't, but God's love for me is not based on how many times I mess up or do it right so there's freedom in that.

Thanks for the prayers! We needed them and we could definitely feel that everybody was praying for us because during such a scary time God really took care of us! Everything is great now!! And yeah, that was Jason's hand! haha How is Johanna feeling? Are ya'll getting excited?
it was funny the other day i told ashley that yall were having a boy and she said dang i was hoping to have a girl because nic now has an excuse to buy toys and video games and gets to teach him sports where if he had a girl he'd have to play barbies with her
