N I C E is a Hard Rock band located in Utah and has been playing regular shows across the state. Though the band has focused most of their campaign over seas from northern Europe all the way down south to Australia with radio play, they feel it's time to physically get down with fans locally and have recently jumped on board with local shows.
Thanks to The Avalon and 94.9 recognizing talent, NICE opened for Christian Hard Rock band, "Red"(touring with Breaking Benjamin and Three days Grace), New York's sensation, "Hed p.e.", and in March opened for Saving Abel who's hit song "Addicted to'' has recently swept the air waves! Even more recently, NICE was able to climb aboard another opportunity and Live performance filming with Comcasts on demand for The Band Wagon, which is a show dedicated to local artists on the up rise.
N I C E is compared to such vocal harmonies as powerful as the Blaring horns on a passing train, and transforming bass riffs like tool to add back bone to the tight riffs on the Guitar like old school Guns n Roses. Influences range from Led zeppelin, to AC/DC, to Soundgarden, to Pantera, to AFI and many others that make Their first Album, Atrophy, a tribute to all the music that inspired each band member over the years. Each song on the Album can actually be pin pointed to the exact artist that influenced the particular writing that took place for each song on the Album. Nice has dedicated the Album to they're aspiring idols as a thank you for they're drive and inspiration to become musicians, artists, and writers themselves. "We are now ready to record the sound which we've worked so hard to perfect that will finally define and separate us from the other bands", says singer and lead guitar player Trenton Holland.
