Lately I've been playing a fair bit of scrabble, and recently on the internet...note to self must get better. Lots of crosswords, knitting, and cooking. Basically I'm really an old lady trapped in a young persons body. Im also prone to a bit of drinking, beamish or guinness being my preferred poison...Tom Collins has the best pint in Limerick don't ya know.

About me: I'm Ruth Crean and I set up '...Nice Day Designs' in Limerick City 2006. Basically I do freelance graphic design. That includes invites, posters, brochures, illustration and so on. I also have a stall at the Sunday market(Thomas St., Limerick, 12-5, weekly). There I sell customised women's clothing, handbags and handmade cards. To get a good look at my new clothes go into my pictures as there is only a selection in the slideshow below. They are all one-off pieces, but I stock sizes 8-16. So if you are looking for something funky, cool and unique for a present or a treat for yourself, then you should check out my stuff. The market has been a great outlet for me and I hope to use it as a spring board for gaining new clients. So far I've worked with some great people, like The Brad Pitt light Orchestra and Impact Theatre Co.Since graduating from LSAD in 2004 it's been an interesting transition.I studied fine art;printmaking, yet since leaving I have had a growing inclination towards design. This year has really been about apply myself to working full time at what I'm good at, making images. So here's hoping I swim instead of sink.

Cool stuff, i'll pop in if I'm around. Oh yes, those games take over your life. They really are like full time jobs at times. I can't wait for the star trek one. It will be the game I have always wanted really. I spose I would say I'm a big fan, collect all the stuff, gone to conventions and have photos with alot of the actors. Really looking forward to the new movie soon!.
I was a bit pressed for time, laptop crashed night before and i lost the whole terms work (basically EVERYTHING is due in the next two weeks). so late night, crisis, early mornin, no sleep, got totally soaked on route to town, then missed but home by 3 minutes so missed mothers birthday. after that s*** really went down hill. it was one of those days. hence i couldn't stay around long. but it looked good, lots of bright colours etc. from a marketing managers view point, music was too loud for such a small venue. slan agus beannacht. k.
