Katie Joins The Loser Parade is back! Now on to fighting mediocrity in the Northern Hemisphere and chasing the myth of the American Dream... Posted at 4:24 PM Jun 22 view more
About me: I like bourbon and coke and music and my friends and sarcasm and reading and poetry and the desert.
I do not like veggies or drinking water.
I love people who are a pain in the ass, which explains the company I keep.
No surprise, my favorite songwriter/guitarist of all times is Doug Hopkins. I do a Doug Hopkins website with Mark Ord. Please visit Lost Horizons, the website at:
http://users.on.net/~ord/losthorizons/
My interests also include monkeys who wash kitties.
Who I'd like to meet: No one!! I have a social disorder!!!
You should have had the Jelly Man to help you! I have to laugh at people that fall down, especially those wearing heavy backpacks that can't right themselves. lol!
Thinking of you & Mark today on this 5th of December.
Let me be the 1st in the Northern Hemisphere to send you an early birthday greeting (with the time zone difference, maybe I'll be right on target?)! HAPPY BIRTHDAY, KATIE!
Here's the video I promised you. Sorry that it took so long, I didn't have the adapter to upload it to the computer! found the adapter and here it is. I hope you like it.
So, I guess you won't be going to that festival? Looks like a good lineup. I found The Polyphonic Spree because the singer, bass player and drummer used to be in a band called Tripping Daisy. That was the first band that I "followed" when I was in college. They played all the Texas towns over and over again and would hit Lubbock and Amarillo 2 - 3 times per year. I'd go every time when I was going to Texas Tech. They're a fun, upbeat band. Now that I think about it, you may not like them. ;)
Oh my goodness!! You must go to this! The Polyphonic Spree is playing this festival and I am so anxious to see them live. Looks like you'll be able to! You will have to tell me all about it. Go!
