NICE MUM is the comedy double act Dave Marks and Kris Dyer who perform regularly at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, on the London circuit and around the country.

ON THE BLOG, the six-part radio series that they created, wrote and appear in, was broadcast between 3 May - 9 June 2007 on BBC Radio 2 to an overwhelmingly positive critical response. Between 2002 and 2004 they performed three sell-out runs at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival at the Pleasance, Underbelly & Gilded Balloon venues gaining widespread praise from punters and critics alike. They were called "Genuinely funny" The Scotsman and "One of the funniest acts of the Fringe" The Stage.

They went on to write sketches, jokes and scripts for national radio, winning commissions to write for, amongst others, RICHARD HERRING and PARSONS & NAYLOR 2004-06 saw them hosting one of the most popular & enduring live sketch nights on the circuit NICE MUM ETC featuring the best in new sketch comedy.

Kris and Dave work with a small team of regular collaborators. Mark Clements is the Technical & Musical Director of all the NICE MUM live shows. As well as lighting design, he composes & performs all their music, including the popular Cherry People Theme and I Like Looking At Things. Simon Collins designs all of the Nice Mum artwork and publicity and also shoots and edits all of the film footage used in their live shows. Nick Swift has directed the last two NICE MUM live shows. He is also writes & performs comedy most recently in One Lady Owner.
