It is Jesse, Sally who make up the core of Nice Verdes, a name with many umbrellas. Often combining with other musicians along thier travels abroad.
Together they create a surprisingly fresh approach to accordion and guitar music. Jesse has written beautiful and warm compositions and they throw in a touch of Gypsy,Latin, Jazz and African influences from their travels abroad.
Nice Verdes also have a completely different set with West African drumming, dancing and song combined with funky tap dance beats. Having studied and performed African music in West Africa, Canada and Australia they have combined traditional songs and dances with a bit of their own modern touch.
Nice Verdes have and are currently teaching African drum and dance within the local community and schools.
Sally and Jesse can also be seen performing new works of physical theatre acompanied by orignal music scores in fringe festivals, caberets and theatres.
