Born in Italy in 1980 I grew up in a lovely and nice family in a small town of southern Italy. Since the age of 14 I played the guitar in local bands and with different styles. I also played for years in many solo shows, opening for artists like Kent DuChaine and Corey Harris, while studying in college. After I graduated from University in Rome in 2004 in History, I've been playing more seriously recording every song I had (just to remember it though) and I have lived by myself doing all sort of things. My instrument is the guitar but everything that has a string that can produce a sound is fine to me lol. I've always been into some kind of roots-blues but really every music genre is ok to me; I can listen to R&B and soul and the day after just sing along P.O.D., RHCP and Avril Lavigne. My guitar playing technique, which i think is pretty original, has 'suffered' many influences from blues guitarists (Buddy Guy, Muddy Waters, Otis Taylor) and the great Jimi Hendrix. But since I started listening to a couple of african players like Ali Farka Toure and Habib Koite, it has totally changed. I do enjoy spanish flamenco guitar too. Now i'm pretty open to the pop music a lot more than I was in the past. My first single that has been launched on the internet called I Run To Your Heart, has been released in February 2009 as music video voluntarily created by Brian Mota (myspace.com/undercook), who put the video in his catalogue through all the major online video channels. It reached more than 18000 views in few days. Another song I recorded in 2009, War and Comets, has been used in a promo for the iPhone's app iGun.
