My oh my! Aren't you a busy bee?!
Was lovely to see you (if for a brief moment in your hectic schedule!) at the Vieux Farka Toure gig.
Would I be allowed to come to your final recital at the end of the next week? I am thinking of doing some post grad jazz study in 2010 and would like to get a feel for the place... and also get to hear you play and blag a night out in town with the infamous Nick Malcolm!!!
Let me know what you think, and if I'm allowed...
Please do have a listen to my page will ya? Although all live versions, so not great quality... But I guess jazz is essentially a live artform, so have a gander! I mean the sound quality is not great... nor are the band really!

Yeah, Nick - incredible!

The Guardian said of "Rufus! Rufus! Rufus!": "Where's Neil Hannon got to? Bath-born Brunel seems to be stepping into his shoes with this camp, intricately arranged (think harps, strings and a female choir singing in French) tribute to Rufus Wainwright."

Genius! (bloody funny too)

Book tickets here.

One of the highlights of the Vortex London Jazz Festival – TIME OUT

Featuring Fyfe Dangerfield (from Guillemots), Gannets posit an alternative jazz history in which 30's swing developed straight into a combined form of the free jazz and fusion movements, without any of the intervening decades.

Fyfe Dangerfield - keyboards + electronics
Alex J Ward - clarinet
Christopher Cundy - bass clarinet
Dominic Lash - double bass
Steve Noble - drums
