Born and raised in a small town in Iowa until I was 18. Ended up in omaha, leading worship for various churches and events for a few years, and I now reside just outside chicago, as the worship arts pastor for Hobson Road Community Church. My goal is to lead people into worship and teach others to do the same. I have the privilege of knowing and playing with some of the best worship leaders and musicians in the midwest.
What did you think of the newDeath Cab cd? I never got to hear your opinion on it, so I was curious. Some people love it, and others say it wasn't what they expected.
I'm pretty glued to it, I'd have to say. I really enjoy "I Will Possess Your Heart", and the last one "The Ice is Getting Thinner". Still don't like the "Talking Bird" one.. haha.
Anyways, it was good to have you in town alot this past month. Ben really enjoyed it too. :) We'll see you soon probably. Are you coming out to your parents on the 4th of July? -Vera
Just wanted to thank you so much for coming to Omaha and leading worship for the Worship Encounter at GT! That was a huge blessing to us all... thanks for allowing the Holy Spirit to lead through you! Blessings!
Hey Nicholas! It was great having you play at GT yesterday! I feel bad that I didn't get to stop and chat or pick up a CD (No extra green in the pocket. You know how that is). Figured this was the closest I'd get.
How's it going over there in Chick-a-go anyways? Good I hope?
dude things are awesome man...little crazy with school but it's great. i just saw one of my fav bands tonight, from the chicago area --sleeping at last-- check them out if you haven't already.
but no new gear sadly...i think i'm going to sell everything and get all new stuff haha, clean swipe.
what about you bro? how's music? design? life? chicago? that's a sick looking venue in that picture by the way
YOUVE BEEN TAGGED!! now you have to go to my blog page and read the "I have been tagged" Blog! GO! (This isn't spam, it is really me...Nathan...Nathanial...the guy who likes studebakers)
Nicholas, I miss seeing you around Omaha! What are you up to these days in Chicago?? How are you loving your new job? I wanted to apply for the Desperation Band Internship and found out you have to be 24. Shoot!!!
Hmm, well I went to Trinity and was in TN and Crusade for about four years, and so I'm sure lots of people...Ali, Stephanie, Lydia, Ben, to name a few.
I see you live in Chicago now. I actually grew up in a little town there called Glendale Heights. Lol, it's so small you've probably never heard of it : ) I hope all is going well for you there!
