Did anyone mention a passion for music? Nick indulges in a very diverse and expansive taste for music of any genre, and among his favourites he finds: Nirvana, The Beatles, Jeff Buckley, Yellow Jackets, Herbie Hancock, Buena Vista Social club, The Police, Bob Marley, The Doors, Deftones, Staind, At the Drive-In, Mars Volta, Incubus, Rage Against the Machine, Blur, Bitterside, Radiohead, Pearl Jam, System of a Down, Prodigy, Foo Fighters, Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Kanye West, NERD, Narkotiko, Beastie Boys, Beangrowers, Mr. Bungle, Nofx, Rancid, Pennywise, Operation Ivy, BNI, The I-SKAndal, Sublime, Queens of the Stone Age, Etnika, The Strokes, The Clash, Muse, The Killers, Coldplay, Travis, Keane, Jamiroquai, Gang of Four, Bloc Party, Franz Ferdinand, Panic! at the disco, The Hives, Maroon 5, Kings of Leon, Green Day, Anti-Flag, Wolfmother, Alexisonfire, Billy Talent… and the list goes on..
Nick Morales came kicking and screaming into this world on the 24th July 1981, and after a while he realized that he had a nasty passion for music. Since he first picked up an instrument, he has played in numerous local outfits including Thera, Yellow Poppers, Try See Kill, Oblong, Lynch and Noetic, amongst many others. In ‘98 he joined playing drums with Patrick Galea (Guitar) and Leon Madden (Bass) and thus Dripht were formed – eventually moving on to Guitar and Vox in the present lineup.

Now his working on a new band with daniel (el flambu), sarah and darko so watch out.
Aside from being a multi-instrumentalist Nick also is an animal rights activist and a vegetarian, to such an extent that at times he feels hatred towards the entire human race for being egotistical bigots, abusing their dominance as a race to torture and kill animals unnecessarily and even worse, at times for sport. However, after a little bit of reasoning, he concludes that there are quite some good natured humans too, and he’s cool with that.

Around 4 years ago Knockturn Alley were playing their first shows in the local metal scene and trying to find a way to get more known within the Maltese metal scene. In the past 4 years the band has gone through several line-up changes leaving the current line-up with only 2 original members. However, this has never stopped the band from focusing on their goals and the past 3 years has seen the band releasing a 3-track EP, continuous gigging and even 2 headlining dates in Greece.
The time was right for Knockturn Alley to get their music on disc again, and the band returns with Medusa, the debut full length album. Named after the female monster in Greek mythology, Medusa is a collection of 10 tracks of solid aggressive riffing and catchy melodies.
Coming from Athens as Knockturn Alley's special guests, Greek thrashers The Source will kick off the night. Fresh from releasing their self-titled album on I for an I Media, The Source will perform tracks from their new album which will also be on sale on the night.
