I'm a multi-instrumentalist for a number of musical projects. I play all sorts of instruments in all kinds of ways, but most of the time I play the guitar. I have alot of guitars, amps, drums, a violin, a piano and many things that wouldn't normally count as musical instruments. I clean them and tune them and gaze over them and make sure they're still there in the morning. My days are filled with quite a spectrum of activity; rehearsing, recording, meeting, writing, talking, thinking. While my nights are usually spent contributing to or watching some form of live music. I also enjoy spending time away from urban areas, photography, drawing, stenciling and various forms of art, visiting obscure galleries, unique shop fronts, sporadic markets, warehouse gatherings and other things of such nature.
I'd like to confirm that I'm your typical wicked cool, independent, contemporary, muso/pseudo artist, living DIY in the shadows of society... but what can I say, perhaps I'm not pretentious enough? Plus, I'm yet to find an awsum group of kids to move inner city with, and we all know that'd instantly make me the coolest motherfucker in town. I don't drink let alone do other drugs, so I'm usually just naturally paranoid and I guess people see me as a shy, serious, kind of guy. But we all know there's more to it than that, break down the gender barriers, ask me out for a coffee, and you'll see.
I'm also a qualified draftsperson and studied architecture for a time at Deakin, focussing on sustainable building, and have a certificate in arts from box hill institute. I've since expanded on this area of knowledge autodidactically to consider sustainable urban design, planning, transport, forms, structures and housing, holistically. I'm involved with a number of sustainability-related campaigns not the least of which is Save The Planet, which I'm an Australian spokesperson for. I've been editing Wikipedia for quite some time, chances are you've read a Melbourne-related article I've writen or copyedited. Sometimes I also teach guitar, fix guitars & amps and pianos for friends. I can also fix other things, change lightbulbs, take commissions for artworks and alot of other useful stuff.
Who I'd like to meet: a close companion to share all of life's experiences with, an intelligent, free-thinking individual, the perfect girl... yeah, right.
