  • Bio

I'm not very good at writing about myself, so I'll try, but I'm not promising much. .. I've lived in a few places over the years, including both Chicago and Boston, but right now, I'm back where I came from: Kentucky. I don't really like moving, but I seem to do it a lot, so I guess I can't mind it all that much. .. I've changed as I've gotten older, but so has everyone else, so I don't think it's something to be upset over. I used to feel very smart, but for a while, I thought I had lost it. Now I think I have that feeling back, but it's not a matter of how much trivia I can retain, it's a matter of feeling capable. It's nice to feel capable again. .. I make music constantly, and I might possibly die if I ever stopped. I also might possibly stop if I ever died, though that's debatable. I think making music is one of the most fun things there is to do, besides maybe board games. I can't say exactly when I started writing songs or why, but it was a long time ago, and I'm sure it was for a very good reason. Music is a way for me to translate the constant gush of thoughts in my head into something relatable and, if I'm lucky, maybe even beautiful. .. I hope you enjoy the music but understand if you don't. I really appreciate feedback of any sort, except maybe if what you write is rude or has an awful lot of misspelled words. Please, feel free to write me and let me know what you think! I might not pride myself on much, but I'm pretty good at being friendly. And also at Wheel of Fortune. ...... .. ..

Biography

I'm not very good at writing about myself, so I'll try, but I'm not promising much.

I was born and raised in Kentucky, and I've lived in a few places over the years, but for now I've settled in Boston, where I'm trudging my way through law school. I don't really like moving, but I seem to do it a lot, so I guess I can't mind it all that much.

It's nice to feel capable again!

I used to make music constantly, but with life's intervening events, it's fallen a little bit by the wayside. Honestly, I think making music is one of the most fun things there is to do, besides maybe board games, but board games are a lot easier to fit in between class obligations. I can't say exactly when I started writing songs or why, but it was a long time ago, and I'm sure it was for a very good reason. Music is a way for me to translate the constant gush of thoughts in my head into something relatable and, if I'm lucky, maybe even a little beautiful.

My influences include my parents (on character), my mood (on behavior), my conscience (on decisions I'm proud of), and my stomach (on decisions I'm not so proud of)... and of course, my good friend Chad Perkins, who is the reason some of this music even made it from my head to your headphones.

Something else

I feel like I should eventually use this box for something. I can't think of anything right now, though. Still, if I get rid of the box, then I'll forget to ever put anything in the box. This is how my brain works.
