    Nick Flora is an alterna-pop singer/songwriter out of Nashville, TN who has been making records and touring the country solo and with a band for the better part of 10 years. Flora released his first proper solo record "Great Escape" in 2009, and the follow-up "Hello Stranger" in Feb 2011 both produced by Andrew Osenga (The Normals, Caedmon's Call). Flora boasts a blend of catchy power/pop anthems and heartfelt ballads that entwines pop-culture-nostalgia with the "refreshingly familiar." With influences from Ben Folds to Elvis Costello, and David Bazan to Randy Newman, Flora expertly extracts the fine points of a song and highlights it with a unique voice and heartfelt, yet often "tongue-in-cheek" perspective. In the summers of 2010, 2011, and 2012 Flora released a series of movie themed EPs of cover songs entitled "Remake", "Remake EP Strikes Back", and "Return Of the Remake EP" respecitvely, for free download on his site (www.nickflora.com) For fans of Ben Folds, Jon Foreman, Randy Newman, David Bazan, Elvis Costello, Josh Ritter, Denison Witmer, Fountains of Wayne, and general awesomeness. Nick Flora is an alterna-pop singer/songwriter out of Nashville, TN (by way of Arkansas) who has been making records and touring the country solo and with a band for the better part of 7 years.
