Yeah mate, I saw it online. Things are pretty good thanks, getting ready for xmas and finishing up teaching for the year. Got a recording date coming up so that will be fun. Other than that just enjoying being here. How's things with you?
hello did you know that your name "nick granville" could be translate into "nique granville" in french? it means "f*ck granville" and granville is the city i'm living in, north ouest of france, normandie. we're having a carnaval every year, so i can tell you that with such a name, you'll surely be welcome!
Thanks for the friendship here Nick,....Don't know that many kiwis here even though i live here? I wish you a lot of fun on the scofield tour....ya might even get to play a tune or two?? All the very best, jD.
Hmmm, yeah I guess all good things come to an end, good news about the organ trio tho! I saw Bernard Purdie play with an organ trio in New York, it was super sick! What sort of stuff are you guys doing? There's a few cool organ trios floating around I've been listening to, Soulive are good, Stanton Moore does some choice things as well with Galactic and Medeski Martin and Wood are good too. You might like them if you haven't already checked those bands out. Any ways bro, all the best with everything, I'd love to hear some of your stuff if you get some tracks up!
Really good now bro! We have a great apartment now, I'm jamming, played my first show last Friday and still teaching. Got weekends off at the mo so have been traveling a little as well, was in New York a month ago. How's married life treating ya?
Hey Nick! How are ya bro? It's been a long time my man, hope you are well, looks like you're playing lots (you always did have more gigs than anyone else I knew Ha ha!!) Be great to hear from ya.
