Devotion to a yoga practice and the desire to share with and give back to the world are what motivate the teaching at the Maya Yoga Studio on Maui. In what has come to be regarded as unique in yoga today, Eddie and Nicki teach almost all of their classes together. They are able to attend to each student individually while still keeping the pace of the practice. They have learned this method of instruction from their teacher, Sri K. Pattabhi Jois, who has also helped them to find, through practice, the deeper life of yoga. Too often in the west, spirituality is extracted from the practice of yoga. This denies practitioners its' greatest gift — the opportunity to truly get to know ourselves. The classes at Maya Yoga strive to teach each student that yoga is about being fully present in the moment and discovering that we are truly all One.

Hi Nicki...thanks for the add...met you a few years back at your studio on Maui...Richard is my main teacher, but it is nice to have female inspirations in Ashtanga Yoga. Om!
Thanks for adding Beingyoga Retreats to your friends. The January Thailand retreat will be really special. Your location looks beautiful. Thanks for your work.
I cannot thank you enough for your inspiration and introduction to Ashtanga Nicki. I purchased your DVDs last spring and it transformed an endurance runner into a yogi! I intend to travel to Maui to attend a class in your studio as soon as possible. Namaste
"Free breathing means keep breathing" Rinse, repeat if necessary. My living room turns into an exotic ashram every night around 8:30. Thank you for the guidance!
as christ, prophet mohammed (shanthi/peace), buddha, our oneness with source transcends all beliefs to simply be supreme peace of the moment- ahimsa. ahimsa matures in time. we are the awake to peace that is love. we are awake to being ahimsa- supreme peace, non-killing, non-violence and the experience of pure being.
we are the remnant karma of all sages within this breath of divinity that is radiant in all the living and specially ours in expression of this magical moment in time. we are the purpose that uplifts humanity!
