Auteur-compositeur-interprète multi-instrumentiste, Nickie fait partie de ces artistes authentiques qui interpellent .Elle perfectionne sa technique vocale et son sens de l’improvisation à la Black Music School sous la direction de Laurence Apithy.
Parallèlement, elle intègre une chorale gospel dans laquelle elle devient rapidement soliste, et enchaîne concerts et tournées (on retiendra notamment son duo avec Marcel Boungou de la chorale des 100 voix).
Elle se produit régulièrement dans diverses salles parisiennes (le Réservoir,le petit journal Montparnasse,...), et assure des premières parties d'artistes tels que Pep's et Erick Bamy,...
Chanteuse Pop-Folk aux couleurs Blues-Gospel,Nickie est très influencée par des personnalités comme Pink et KT Tunstall au niveau de l'énergie émotionnelle ainsi que de l'improvisation vocale.
Nickie first performed on stage at the tender age of 14. In addition to being an accomplished singer/songwriter, she can play the piano, flute, guitar, drums and Harmonica .
At 17, Nickie sang with a gospel choir based in Paris, and shortly after joining became one of the choirs' soloists. Three years later, Nickie began performing in local pubs, and for weddings and birthday parties. Around this time Nickie also started studying various aspects of singing/performing blues, jazz harmonics, improvisation, as well as dance and theatre. Nickie is currently working on her debut album.
