My name's Nicki Sbaffoni. I sing, play guitar, and write songs. I've been performing original and covers all over the place for about 15 years. Originally from a little town, 20 miles south of Pittsburgh, PA, I'm in South New Jersey right now, and I'm happy to say, working as a full time musician. BEST JOB EVER!
My original tunes are best described as acoustic pop, although I resisted the "pop" label for a long time. I'm no longer in denial. I love hearing people in the audience sing along, which is why I don't mind playing cover shows. I twist the hell out of most covers I perform, which I find quite satisfying!
I'm working on my original CD right now - which I've been working on for a very long time. I'm just never satisfied :-) Really, it will be finished for Christmas (revised - Christmas 2008). So, everyone waiting for official recordings of "Swim" and the "Stoplight Song" can stop harrassing me. This CD's been a long time coming, and I'm really anxious for its release.
