.. .. With hip hop music filled with so many "artists" who have been disrespecting the game that made them, there couldn't be a better time for Nick Javas to arrive. The young north Jersey native brings you true stories that can complement any mood that the listener may be in at any given time.

His music reflects his love and respect for real hip hop in a time where many rappers simply search for a shortcut to the bank. Born and raised in Union, New Jersey, Nick became an all-state athlete in both football and baseball and later went on to pursue a football career at Rutgers University.

After his athletic career was cut short due to a devastating knee injury, Nick turned to his other true love...HIP HOP. But Nick has always had a love for good music in general, and his open-minded outlook is reflected in the versatility of the tracks he records. After his first recording session, Nick went on to compete and take home first prize in the New York Music Festival over 52 other competitors. Since then, he has gone on to perform at numerous clubs all over New York and New Jersey, developing quite a following along his journey. His unique style caught the ear of the Legendary DJ Premier, who believed that Nick Javas was the missing link to his new label. Soon thereafter, he decided to officially welcome Nicky J to the Year Round Family.

Tired of a game that has been one-dimensional for far too long, Nick offers a range of styles that the masses can relate to and respect for the realness he spits from the heart to the speaker. This up and coming lyricist brings hip hop back to the art form that it once was and truly earns the title hip hop artist.
