Coined as the “McDreamy” of Adult Contemporary Music, Nick Loren is bringing his infectious passion to the airwaves with his first single "Fallen." Industry and radio personalities are already comparing Nick to the likes of BabyFace and Stevie Wonder, and Nick is proving himself unique with his sensual voice and sensitive, amorous lyrics. On his debut album, “Forever be Cool,” Nick demands attention with a style that is as fresh and innovative as it is relevant.
Nick describes his music as a gratifying blend of all the styles he loves.
His passion for music began at an early age, as Nick performed in front
of audiences as early as age four. Nick had been turning heads in
his local church as he soulfully sang and played the drums. At the age of six, Nick spent time touring with his stepfather’s band, helping with lighting and occasionally performing on stage. After moving to Long Beach, Ca., Nick
was introduced to the music of Donnie Hathaway, Stevie Wonder, Lionel
Ritchie and other artists that would leave him forever changed. This music would influence the artist Nick Loren was to become.
In high school, Nick began to polish his skills singing, performing and
writing every chance he could. He began recording with L.A. producer
Chico Bennett (Madonna, Nelly Furtado), and this relationship grew into
one of mutual respect and enthusiasm. With Chico’s encouragement, Nick
began to pursue music as a career.
In order to support his dream, Nick began working in the television and
film industry, eventually becoming a stand-in, double and stunt Double for
no other than icon, John Travolta in over 16 films. Most recently Nick has starred opposite Michelle Pfeiffer in “Hairspray,” and will appear in 2008’s “Old Dogs,” starring John Travolta and Robin Williams.
Through all his success in film, Nick never lost sight of his passion for
music. His album entitled “Forever Be Cool” showcases Nick’s impeccable
vocal style and musical ingenuity. For this record, Nick once again teamed
up with Chico Bennett, in addition to producers Jeeve (Carlos Santana,
Darius Rucker, The Game) and Claudio Cueni (Immature, Tupac’s “Better
Dayz”). Nick has all the soulful romanticism of an old-school crooner, but
with the modern sex appeal and musical freshness needed on today’s radio. With his natural talent, sex appeal, and most importantly, his ceaseless determination, Nick is capturing the hearts of his listeners by doing what he loves the most.
