BIO * NICKO IZZO
Being born in what is considered one of the hottest places for electronic music in South-America. Argentina, and also the breeding-ground
for some of the regions hottest djs and producers. nicko has had a great musical upbringing being surrounded constantly by these influences.
During the time when nicko first started to get immersed in the scene in Buenos Aires," Also one of the most influential clubs at that time in the
world was in Buenos Aires." Pacha. Week after week some of the worlds greatest dj's and producers played there. and for many of them during
2000 - 2001 this was the most special place in the world. filled to the brim with super enthousiastic and fiery argentinians.
Inspired by all of this and many of his close friends, by the age of 19 he began his professional dj career. Growing up in his musical taste day by day.
As well as playing at several house-parties and small clubs around Buenos Aires.
A few months later however, at age 20, he moved to Barcelona (Spain) and from that moment on he never stopped. There he was the resident of
some very well known places such as Café del Mar (Barcelona), Club Lla (Granada) and the private club Ta-boo (Sevilla) where dj’s and producers
like Undo & Vicknoise, Silicone Soul, Funk D..Void and Swayzak played.
Back for a tour in Argentina, he plays at infamous club Mint with the dj and producer Rowan Blades (Breeder- UK). the official CREAMFIELDS
afterhours, side by side with 16 Bit Lolitas (Holland), Rowan Blades (UK), Matt Rowan & Jaytech (Australia). and at Christmas, Nicko was part of
the "Proton Radio Festival @ Buenos Aires” with KOSMAS EPSILON (Greece - Rennaisance UK) and playing Back To Back with Neil Quigley
(Bedrock, UK).
2006 was the year when Nicko started a new tour around the USA (Miami, New York). Back in Barcelona in March, he was a guest dj at Buddha
bar and in May he played at Club Aixa Galiana, Madrid. Crossing his own limits and always looking for more, Nicko goes to Asia and played at
“Openair Fetival (Kazakhstan)" headlining together with dj/producer Timo Garcia (UK).
With a brand new impulse, in 2007 Nicko founded his own dj Management Agency" Closure Bookings , he started in the 2007 European summer
Season booking some the biggest names in the electronic scene like; Danny Howells, Darren Emerson, Nick Warren, Sebastien Leger , Lee Burridge
and Kosman Epsilon to play at one of the best clubs in Barcelona. La Terrazza (www.laterrrazza.com). But not only he was not only booking these
artists. During this time at La Terazza and his trips around the world during the last two years. He has managed to play alongside all of these artists
as well as many more well-known names such as; James Zabiela, Chris Lake, Steve Lawler and Funk D'Void.
After this season, working together With Albert Tito of La terazza. He took them as an exclusive for South-America, and started organizing several
events for them in Brazil, Colombia, Argentina, Chile, Ecuador and Peru. Playing alongside artists, Timo Garcia, Tim Davidson and Redanka. as
well as booking several other artists For his own Agency all over South-America such as Danny Howells, Chris Lake, Darren Emerson, Lee Burrige
and Christian Smith. Also he was working with and playing himself at several major events such as Sunshine Festival in Porto Alegre (12.000 people),
and The Festival in Rio De Janeiro (8.000 people) and major clubs in Brazil such as Sirena, Sirena tour, Pacha S.P, Divino and ect.
Now with several projects coming up in Europe and South America, Such as his upcoming 2009 tour of europe, hitting Egypt, Turkey,Spain and UK.
and working together with some of the biggest agencies in the world, there is no doubt that Nicko is an artist with enough energy to play his music
around the world, and give a place in the most exclusive venues to the best artists of the globe...

Hi, NICKO IZZO Everything well? I’m here with a new about my work. It’s the releasing of a remix I produced this summer for Future Shock Records. The track is featured by the female singer Birgit (an incredible voice, for my taste) and it has been a great honour for me to get the chance to work with this Estonian singer. In this case I’m presenting commercial dance music, not trance or electro-trance so I guess it’s an easy listening. Anyway, you have the right word.
