About me:
Welcome to my official myspace page. My name is Nick San Pedro. I was born in Las Vegas, NV on November 15, 1978 to a Cuban-Chinese father, and a Spanish-French mother.I have always chosen to express myself through art. Music is my biggest inspiration, and I am extremely grateful to have had the opportunity to share my artwork with many of the artists who have inspired me. As an adolescent, my father had me share my work with his friends, Siegfried and Roy. Their encouragement to pursue a life filled with the arts, continues to be very inspiring.
My love for music and entertainment led to the creation of many works of art that would eventually gain attention from musicians coming to perform in the entertainment capital of the world.
In 2002, while attending college, I was commissioned to produce artwork for ‘NBC’s Last Call with Carson Daly’. The following year, I was hired to paint eight musicians, including Madonna, for the 45th Annual Grammy Awards Pre-Party.
After debuting my work in New York City in the prestigious Rainbow Room, I went on to share many of my paintings with numerous people in the entertainment industry, including: Christina Aguilera, Nelly Furtado, Tori Amos, Sarah McLachlan, Elton John, Celine Dion, Carole King, Stevie Nicks, Steven Spielberg, Gwen Stefani, Pink, Carey Hart, Siegfried & Roy, Jerry Seinfeld, Ani DiFranco, Ben Folds, The Osbournes, Carson Daly, Ludacris, Kathy Griffin, Carmen Electra and Pamela Anderson.
I am grateful to have the opportunity to use my artwork to enrich people's daily lives. I am proud to lend my time and work to many non-profit organizations related to art, children & education.
My artwork is a celebration of humanity, mostly inspired by music. Currently, I am working in my pop style of portraiture. I also look forward to creating a concentration of metaphysical paintings. I hope to show in more museums, galleries and boutiques around the world.
My dream gig would be to do something with Oprah and Madonna :0)
