Born and raised in West London Nick Sutton was, during his teens, influenced by underground sounds from local pirate radio stations such as Dream FM and Flex FM. Sounds included Oldskool Hardcore and Jungle, and the emergence of UK Garage.
Whilst still at school Nick figured out how to plug his dad's rather modest synth into a computer and, using some software given to him by his music teacher, started producing his first tracks.
In 2002, whilst studying in Oxford, Sutton met Leeds based DJ and music entrepenaur Fank Martin aka Frankay (UKBasic Records). Both passionate about house music the duo performed sets together at bars and clubs. During this time Nick produced deep soulful house tracks and Frankay hosted a 2 year long successful Radio show on Passion 107.9FM. Nick Sutton's "This Time Yesterday" proved to be a hit on the dancefloor and had regular plays at Slide (www.slideuk.com) and Passion FM.
Nick is currently back in the studio working on some beats of a newer style familiar to West London.. watch this space ;-)
