Sounds Like
"An old lady experimenting with acid while playing nintendo guitar."
"Cartman trying to be axle rose"
Oh, Nicky Boy Blues. A true classic sausage roll band. They (he) formed mid way through 2006. The first song ever recorded was "Crip Walk" which was a hit with the religion "fish". No ones entirely sure what happened to fish. They (he) recorded their demo, which was known as 'The Blues of Jazz Man Jimbo' and featured the tracks:
1. Crip Walk.
2. The Vampire and the Sandwhich
3. Cranberries baby!
However, this album was lost. due to the crashing of the computer it was recorded on. (1 year later, the demo was found. ) Nicky Boy Blues didn't record for many months...until one night, after they (he) heard a review made by the bass player of anarchoi, better known as scars. Scars said "It sounds like nintendo guitar with a granny (grandma?) on crack"...or something like that. Nicky Boy Blues was back in business....for some reason.
That exact same night, the mother went out...and Nicky Boy Blues got to work.
Recording their (his) album, known as "Live from the Bedroom". This album was recorded live. It was originally supposed to all be like Crip walk, unfortuantley, as noted in the song "The song of crazy go nuts type of explosions..." : "My guitar seems to have blown..."...Turns out it was the amp that blew.
So the entire album was recorded on a 12 string guitar.
The track listing of it was:
1. For the love of weight Problems!
2. Crip Walk (the extended acoustic version)
3. Motorcol
4. Ray Man or Croc?
5. song
6. Stupidity In G Major
7. The song of crazy go nuts type of explosions have you seen bill chambers
8. Long song tedious
9. The song that never ends until it hits 4 minutes and 34 seconds
10. They were the days of crazy people and 700 pesos
11. Changing Chords is Punk Like Denzal Washington
12. Reagan Youth
13. Crip Walk (the original)
14. The end of the Record (half an hour before the chaser starts
15. 7. The song of crazy go nuts type of explosions have you seen bill chambers REMIX (by Jesse boy)
The second album called "Number 2 always come second.
It is probably be released as it is. Most of this album was recorded on a 12 string too, but fortunatley, Nicky boy blues got their amp back. But also, some of it was recorded on a 6 string acoustic. And some of it has no guitar! (number 5).
the Track Listing for this is:
1. The Maths Text Book of Death!
2. Jesse Jesse
3. Wah wah
4. Hazlum
5. Clap your hands everybody, everybody clap your hands
6. Frequent Pie-R
7. Subtotal .01 cent (featuring Crusty Mc Crutch)
8. Draft of the News
9. Why chu up so late?
10. Crusty McCrutch is back from the present
11. It's way hot (the fan is on)
12. The longest Nicky Boy Blues song EVER (the fan is still on)
13. Bop Bop a Goldfish - Ayeee
14. Jesus Went Vegan?
Amazingly enough, Nicky Boy Blues have never played a gig. But feel free to put them on the bill of one of your shows. and they will probably come.
After 2 successful albums which managed to make sevral girles wet themselves, Nicky Boy Blues was back in the bedroom recording a new Ep called "EP Pee Pee"
The track listing went as:
1. We dont want your enter button (dedicated to pizza hut)
2. Emoticon Junior
3. Enormous Mittens
4. untitled
5. Down At the Chicken shop
6. Oobie Boobie
7. (I'm) against you.
8. (I'm) Against you too.
However, The EP was a total disaster except for the first song - which kicks arse. So NBB headed into the bedroom again, and is currently recording a new album known as "The whaling Christian". Which is named after some girl at Nicky Boy's school who is a patriotic American christian who throws books if you insult christianity.
The new album has touched new styled NBB has never experienced, such as rap.
The current track listing is:
1. the Whaling Christian
2. Chippidy Chip
3. Baby Girl
4. Nicky Boy Blues makes rap sexy.
5. Keepin' it floppy.
6. Cheese Lovers (Juvenile Delinquents cover)
7. The Mogena song.
8. KateKate
9. Little Britain
More tracks will be added over time. As Nicky Boy Blues is always recording something new.
It is also worth mentioning that during the recording of The Whaling Christian, Nicky Boy Blues recorded a cd with "voives", a local ruffian and long time crutch sniffer. The cd was nameless, but containted many covers, including:
Hotel California (The Eagles)
Salad Days (Minor Threat)
Cheese Lovers (Juvenile Deliquents) - one version contains NBB's mother
Nicky Boy Blues and voives made these songs 700% cooler than what they originally were. It also containted some originals, such as "Brothers, Doobs and...Tom."
After a considerable amount of time, the songs were added to the new Nicky Boy Blues album known as "Pen15". IT's track listing was:
1. The Pen15 Club
2. Imogen and Nick
3. Nicky Boy Blues is in love
4. If this doesn't convince you, I dont know what will
5. Church Hymn For The Bored
6. The Lion Never Forgets The Bandicoot
7. "promiscuous chocolate biscuit"
8. OoooAaaaaOoooEeee (or something)
9. Welcome to the middle of the record.
10. Salad Days (Feat Voives)
11. Cheese Lovers V.2 (feat voives)
12. Cheese Lovers V.1 (Feat voives and Mum)
13. Brothers and Doobs and Tom (feat. Voives)
14. Hotel Califorina (feat. Voives)
The cd was basically a split. Nicky Boy Blues as well as Nicky Boy Blues feat voives (and mum. Although, she doesn't deserve much credit for her contribution to this song as she only played the token 'yeller' - whatever that is).
It's also worth noting that Nicky Boy Blues improvise on all of their songs except for Jesse Jesse, Song, Crip Walk and Reagan Youth.
If you would like a copy of any of these cds, send me a message, or send a message to "Evasion!" and one will come as soon as possible.
Remember "I hope you learnt a lesson about me...about cool stuff...like...meeee........I am cool." - Changing chords is punk like Denzal Washington.
