I have been interested in music and been writing and playing music since I was 11 years old. When I first started playing the keyboard and started playing simple patterns and rhythms to build up my technical skills. I started writing my own music from the age of around 12 years old. These compositions were only basic, but as I wrote more music and produced more work I started writing and experimenting with different styles. This helped me to come up with more ideas for my own musical compositions. I am a self taught pianist and have played in numerous musical performances, such as “The Wizard of Oz”, “Bugsy Malone” and “Grease”. This involved me playing the piano and Synths amongst an ensemble of musicians. For the past 5 years I have been working in recording studios producing CD’s and writing music for artists and numerous different events. I have gained experience in live sound engineering in theatres, concert halls and smaller venues and have gained a good knowledge of the characteristics of acoustics within the different live venues.
When I was 16 years old I worked at London Opera house where I had the opportunity to work briefly with Placido Domingo. This involved taken already written music and re-writing them to perform to a live audience.
I have gained certificates for the amount of hour’s work I have gained doing voluntary work within my local community. These certificates are for dedicating over 1000+ hours of voluntary work working with people and helping them with their music. These certificates were awarded to me by Millennium Volunteers.
