About me:

I write poetry and children's stories and have done some publishing for other poets here on MySpace.I am happily married with two grown up, smashing children and two grown up, great step-children. I am a Psychotherapeautic Counsellor, and worked in Primary Care until recently. Before that I taught Physical Education to 13-18 year olds. I specialised in Modern Dance and produced yearly stage shows, which I also performed in.

Dancing with Snowflakes" Poem by AB ~

Through the trees,

A cool wind blows,

It lifts my scarf,

And chills my nose,

I look around,

I see the snow,

The white flakes shimmer to,

And fro,

I try to catch one in my hand,

As on the river bank I stand,

I gaze across it's broad expanse,

As the flakes perform thier dance,

If I could skate,

I'd go and see,

THE NIGHT DANCE by Thomas Moore

Strike the gay harp; see the moon is on high
And, as true to her beam as the tides of the ocean,
Young hearts, when they feel the soft light of her eye,
Obey the mute call, and heave into motion.
Then, sound notes -- the gayest, the lightest,
That ever took wing, when heaven look'd brightest

Oh! could such heart-stirring music be heard
In that City of Statues described by romancers,
So wakening its spell, even stone would be stirr'd,

Why then delay, with such sounds in our ears,

I've gotten a little behind in sending comments since returning from my other home. Hope you are well and enjoying this beautiful summer--rain or shine. This is the time of year I love with all the flowers in full bloom. I hope you have had a nice week so far and enjoy your weekend. I am anxious to watch our 4th of July fireworks celebration.
