Einstein Music Journal is a New Zealand-based music blog. Started by Nick Fulton in 2006, the blog was initially called Nickystardust and was hosted by blogspot. In 2007 the website was renamed Einstein, disguised as Robin Hood after a line from Bob Dylan’s ‘Desolation Row’. With gaining popularity, Nick could no longer maintain the site himself. Sarah Gooding answered a myspace advert calling for a writer and the rest is history.
Einstein Music Journal is now New Zealand’s foremost MP3 blog, with readers from all over the world. We have been quoted in Rolling Stone, New York magazine and Artrocker.com. EMJ is extremely proud to provide an outlet for musicians to get their music heard and appreciated. We also offer very affordable advertising, see the Contact page for more details.
We would like to sincerely thank Ben Thompson for designing this website. We’d be lost without you, mate!
If you would like your music featured on EMJ, send us an MP3 or two and if we like them then we may feature your band.

You know, it's actually really hard to make it look like we're not robots or something, but here's our album. It's totally free, but can also cost money if you'd like to, you know, give us money and stuff...
Thank you so much for "bandfriending" us, Einstein Music Journal! We truly appreciate it.
We hope that you find something of ours that will wriggle into your ears, burrow down next to your heart (in a good way), and compel you to ROB US BLIND (again, in a good way: "Free downloads, ahoy!”…that is, if Myspace ever gets around to reactivating that feature).
If you like us, please, tell a friend. If you hate us, hell, tell an enemy!
The wait is finally over and Futures In Black And White's debut EP is now available worldwide on iTunes, Amazon, eMusic & CD Baby. Be one of the first people in the world to purchase and download a copy by simply clicking on one of the links below. Cheers :)
