Nicky's Interests
Music
Everything except Heavy Metal and that noisy stuff that just goes on and on... Is that techno?
Movies
Shawshank Redemption, Documentaries, Princess Bride, When Harry Met Sally, The Notebook (if you don't cry in that - we won't ever be friends).
Television
Idol always gets me...even though I really, really, really try to resist. But at the moment My Name is Earl is top of the list. Oh and Lost... how good is that show???
Books
A Prayer for Owen Meany by John Irving is just the best book I have ever read.
About me: I am an actress, voice over artist and stand-up comedian. Ummm...I can cook. Pastries are my speciality. I'll have a dirty vodka martini with four olives if you're buying. But, but be warned, after two I go a bit funny. Oh and don't ask... I really don't know anything about cars. As it turns out - can't even change a tyre.
I used to be in a soap opera...Its true... The above film clip was put together by a viewer. Good on her!!
Who I'd like to meet: Other actors and comedians. Oh and everyone who owes me money.
Here's the poster for my upcoming shows in Adelaide and Melbourne. Don't miss it!!
And here is my poster from last years show. Shame you missed it. x
Welcome to 2009 (abit belated). What lays in store? Flying Cars, monkey butlers, jet packs, advance sexy robotic maids? Well sadly none of that (sexy robo maids are still in their sexy infancy), what we do have is a new episode of the rogues gallery! Jacky and Richy return for your listening pleasure to talk about the usual crap; including worst jobs in the world, life according to a Dungeons and Dragons fanatic and the Inaugural Brisbane Comedy festival.
Anyway promises to be fun. So visit us and spread the mirth!
Adios,
Richy The Rogues Gallery, QLD
P. S Have you got a show prepared for this years MICF?
Just dropping by to give a heads up that Ep 5 of the Rogues Gallery is up. If you hated waiting for forever and day to download the podcast, you can now stream it live directly via our myspace. I have a confession to make- I find you very attractive and last night when you were at my house and leaned over to grab a dorrito, all i wanted to do was WAIT A SECOND, THIS ISN'T THORNTON'S PAGE
Not to mention my Cinderella Complex, which I am only resolving now at 39 and the realization that I'm passed being rescued by a prince on a white charger! The topic sounds an absolute hoot! Can't wait. Becs
Hey Nicky, Catching up with an old and dear boarding school friend on Saturday night - might catch the show rather than the usual boring din-dins and drinkies at The Nash. Change is as good as a holiday, so they say, and I'm too pov for a holiday. Hope to see you there, Best, that Notebook-masochist chick.
