The music we make is a loving hybrid of the influences that mould each of us respectively.
Rachel Claudio is a singer/pianist/songwriter/producer who existed almost exclusively in the world of soul/blues/nu-jazz until she met soulful house lover/DJ/producer Nicolas Vautier in 2004. The result of their meeting is exactly what you'd expect from the crossed paths of those aforementioned worlds. Rachel & Nico now live, create, play yahtzee & violate noise restrictions in Paris, which allows them to be closer to the people who help inspire & strengthen their music, such as Greg Kozo (Place Blanche, Gordon&Cardell, Paris), Klaus Spitzner(ProgCity; ProgCity Deep, Hannover), Nico Guegen, Karl The Voice, Yuanist Woods, DJ Fudge & Dom Navarra.. Rachel & Nico are the creators of new soulful House label 'Jaffa Music'.
The method of our music-making is very simple: We need to be in love with the product of our work. Its sole motivation & purpose is to inspire and move us. So, let us know if it does the same for you, since music is the property of its listeners..
