...the kind of music you want to listen to, hopefully.
Melodic and thoughtful acoustic rock with a lot of emotion, a little pain and bags of honesty - Nicola Devine has created those songs that can bring you through tough times and give you that "who gives a shit" attitude you are looking for. - A new fan, Jan '07
I sing, I write, and I play guitar. I do it to the best of my ability and at every opportunity. I live out of my suitcase, wherever life leads me, and I like to do things my way and in my own time. Thanks to my buddy Andy in the U.K. for helping me set up this page. (You're a peach firecrotch). I would have done it myself, but unfortunately I'm still learning how to speak "technology." Also, to give credit where credit is due, Pretty Boyz was co-written by a guy named Jeremy Doody, and Goin' Down I worked on with a guy I went to college with named Troy (sorry dude, for the life of me I can't remember your last name). I hope you enjoy. Feel free to let me know what you think, but if you hate it know that I will respectfully ignore you. Take it easy, take it where you can, and take it for what it's worth. Nicola Devine.
Hey, Wanna hang out sometime? I miss the crap outta you... I hope life's treating you kind, the pints flow freely, the passion burns bright, and you're having the time of your life. Take good care of yourself. Yar.
Good, it's still in one (little) piece. How is your tour going? We sold the place, and bought a house in Sherwood Park. I've got my two fringe shows, which are coming along very nice, my head is about to expload trying to keep two scripts in my head, but other than that I'm great :o)...
Thanks so much for playing both Blue Wednesday and Blue Friday in Edinburgh. It was great to meet you at last and you were every bit a good as I guessed you would be! The Bluesfather thanks you from the bottom of his heart. I'm checking out other possible gigs for you. Fancy Newcastle?
Just wanted to say hello and aslo share some information about media diversity. More media diversity means more opportunity for musicians. Over the past few decades big media has bought up all the smaller companies (and now they are trying to take control of the internet). Its time to change this trend.
Hello Nicola.
I'm sure you are having a great time in Edinburgh (my hometown). Next time we jam, I promise not to get your hair caught in my guitar. (really sorry 'bout that!) Best wishes...Garry
Hey Nicola... Lookin' hot as always. Now that I'm not Mormon anymore, we'll have to party when you're in town sometime. Jeremy's got my number. PS I don't NEED any of those pills the previous guy was talking about...I've got it covered ;)
