Multi-faceted entertainer, singer/songwriter and recording artist Nicolas Beardes resume includes three solo CDs, CROSSING THE LINE, ALL ABOUT LOVE and the recently released LIVE AT YOSHI'S - A SALUTE TO LOU. Nicolas' credits also include performance, touring and recording dates with a host of internationally known musical greats such as Bobby McFerrin and Voicestra, Michael Bolton, Patti Austin, Janis Siegel, Holly Near, Chris Camozzi, John Handy, Ray Obiedo, and Linda Tillery and the Cultural Heritage Choir, just to name a few. Nicolas and his band The Right Groove are a much requested, featured act at concerts and festivals including The Russian River Jazz Festival, The Sacramento Jazz series, The Fillmore Jazz festival, Jazz at Newport, Pearls Jazz Club of San Francisco and Oakland, Californias renowned Yoshis Jazz Club. A noted stage, screen and television actor and voice over talent, Nicolas credits include film roles with Clint Eastwood, Richard Gere, Kim Basinger, Gary Dourdan, Michael Keaton and Uma Thurman. His television credits include featured and recurring roles in numerous shows including "Monk", Don Johnson's "Nash Bridges" , the Danny Glover pilot "Henry Lee", and numerous made-for-TV movies and voice-over and on-camera appearances for a host of commercial and industrial projects. Nicolas will be performing in concert with his group throughout the remainder of 2008 in support of his lastest CD, at the San Jose Jazz Festival, the Santa Rosa Jazz Festival and at the Brownstone in Paterson, New Jersey with his dynamic jazz and blues tribute to one of the great vocalist of the past few decades .
