Nicola was born in Rome in 1982. He has loved music, since the first day of his life. It's his great passion, it's been his companion for ever. Since adolescence he created his ideas about the music world and his image of becoming a dj; an artist working with a "million bottons", where he spent a lot of time during his afternoon parties as a guest watching the dj's. After much thinking he decided to begin his advendure behind the turn tables and from there (1999) he never stopped. This decision was his greatest, making music his life. He used his head phones and music deck as a form of his expression and in turn made it his only focus and priority.
Today Nicola defines himself as an experimental DJ, lover of the new grooves, about minimal and minimal/techno. The distance of his decision of minimal and minimal techno came along a long path. It took him years to make this decision. Choices of his career were dictated by confrontation with the nightlife of his city and his desire to be behind the deck. Rome is confined to commercial music and is not inviting to the experemental artist or new talent. The begining of his career he was urged to be comercial and during this time he improved his technical side and his familiarity with the instruments. From the other side, he became very popular. However he was very conflicted because his real passion was in other types of music. No resentment from his side, becasue he knows that in life and especially in an artists life you have to be open minded. Something to remember, he was the DJ resident every night and during special events at Cabala (one of the most popular commercial clubs in Rome) from 2002 to 2006. Chill Out, deep and minimal techno were the three main focuses of his kind of music durling the last 10 years. Today the situation is very different. Nicola looks over the confinement of his city and he has total concentration of the music that is closest to his heart and soul. For the last three years his night at Jonthan's Angels is a show and is very appreciated for the quality of music that he plays. Another important night for Nicola is the one of the weekly events "Fonia", where the musical liberty reign without the confinment and sterotypes of his city. They do not enter the door at the club Neo.
His evolution as a producer was very important to him. Sometime before he began as a DJ, Nicola wanted to confront himself as a song writer. "How is it possible to create a song ?" he asked himself. From an easy question it became another phase of his path and from 2001 he not only played tracks but created them. His first tracks were failures, but he spent hours and hours in front of the computer and after alot of work he created his first real acomplishments. A turning point for Nicola began with his work colaboration with Marco Tognetto. Together they worked hard in the recording studio and dedicated hours to create tracks which was one of the most positive experiences for him. Nicola learned so much from watching Marco behind the monitor. Another friend, a great proffesional in this feild, helped Nicola in his production career was Andrea T. Mendoza. With Andrea, Nicola produced several tracks that were released in compilations and DVD's of the Billionare's club. In 2006 he began to work with Maurizio Clemente, and with him they founded the Plastikal Mood recordings. Nicola was the A&R of Plastikal Mood from 2005 to 2007. With Plastikal Mood Nicola released his first real success called "God Inc" that placed 13th in the Euro charts, 9th in the Italian charts of the Disco Più store, and 7th in the Argentina charts of "Buenos Aliens". In 2007 he founded Borghese Incisioni, leaving his job at Plastikal Mood. Nicola is now directing Borghese Incisioni in the musical direction he loves most: experimental way.
Young, productive, sincere and frank, Nicola wants to bring forward his musical idea and propose quality and innovation in all his projects.
