Nicole, a native of the motor city and techno capital of the world, Detroit. Nicole has an interesting history in the music and entertainment business. She has played with such artists as Sean Paul, Busta Rhymes, Bootsy Collins, Digital Underground, and the Beastie Boys to name a few. In addition to working with these all star talents, Nicole toured all around the world as a member of George Clinton's "P-Funk All Stars" band. Nicole has performed everywhere from the Lollapalooza main stage to European hot-spots, and Japanese arenas, as well as "The Rock and Roll" Hall of fame. As a recording artist who has entertained millions of fans, she is best described as "Crystal Method meets Madonna... finally! Hard-core techno groove sound – jagged, yet very danceable... relying on heavy beats, funky grooves and metallic vocals instead of nice cheekbones. Nicole just might be Detroit's best kept secret. Her stint wit P-Funk has been documented by Rolling Stone, Spin, Guitar School, and Entertainment Weekly, gaining national as well as international recognition for her talent. Nicole 11:11 was also introduced with a featured role in the 20th Century Fox's "PCU" and followed with a co-starring role in the film "Pandora Directive" starring Kevin McCarthy. Then off to Hawaii for the filming of "Baywatch".
Nicole has been a working actor for over 10 years with starring, supporting and feature roles in both television and film. As an actor, Nicole has worked with companies such as 20th Century fox, NGM Enterprises, E!! Entertainment, Travel channel, and Baywatch productions to name a few. Recently, Nicole has gained recognition with a supporting role in "The Unlikely's" starring William Forsythe, due out in 2008. Nicole's wide range of experience in both dramatic and comedic roles has earned her solid references from directors, producers and actors from each of her many projects.
Nicole 11:11 is the latest in a long line of Detroit-bred talent to take on an international reputation. Championed for her combination of being hip,trendy, and classically sexy looks with a relentless pursuit of hardness. Nicole serve's up an eclectic mixture of intelligent driving progressive house with a techno sounding set.
Nicole was increasingly inspired and drawn to the underground scene and electronic music subculture and has since taken up production an DJing. Nicole's first produced release set dance floors a blaze. Releasing on DJ Hardware's Pure Music Recordings imprint, "Out of Control" is a moody and trivial progressive journey with just the right intensity, atmosphere and attitude. This track was a really fresh take on the progressive house ideal, a second single for the pure music imprint.
Among all the colors that stretch from sea to sea, I find my friend sitting somewhere between blue and green. Her heart is full of passion of the likes you’ve never seen. Her laughter is contagious and her smile a mystery. She doesn’t understand how beautiful her touch. I wonder if she knows she is loved so much. She doesn’t really see all the colors she paints for me, but that just makes her more precious… you see. On the canvas of her life she splashes her many shades, like a hug around my shoulders or a whisper of grace. What a wonderful heart, I’ll hold to the end. What a talented artist… my friend.
