Nicole spent 6 or so years playing music alongside Jodi Moore+Syd Green touring extensively across OZ playing anywhere and everywhere-Austin Texas SXSW, Nashville, Shepards Bush Empire(UK), Femme Funk Festival(New Caledonia), Melbourne International Music Festival, Byron Bay Blues & Roots, Woodford Folk Festival, Port Fairy Folk Festival, Womadelaide, Festival of the Sun, Peats Ridge. etc.. 'Nothing is Free' EP, 2002 'Dark Green' 2003 (produced by Jodi Moore/Nicole Brophy/Brent Clarke) 'Music people Cities Lights Darkness' 2006 (produced by Jodi Moore/Nicole Brophy/Syd Green) Releases thru MGM Distribution available at www.musicplug.net.au I recorded a couple of loungeroom demos with Syd Green at his Mononest home studio and have put them here.The songs were co-written with Jodi Moore (Violinist/Mando player) from Dirty Lucy (even though the band is having a break we still get together to create).. I've been touring over the past 2 years with (Brisbanne born now UK based) pop songstress Kate Miller-Heidke playing guitar and singing in her band..Playing huge festivals & an amazing theatre tour in 2009. A huge highlight so far was supporting Cyndi Lauper where Cyndi invited KMH & myself onstage to sing "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun".. festivals both in oz & overseas including MuseXpo in London and playing in Nepal for MTV Exit.. I appeared playing guitar/vocals on Kate Miller-Heidke's most recent release "Live at The HiFi" out thru Sony released Oct 2009.. In in Nov 2009 I recorded new songs in Fitzroy Melbourne.. and I plan to release them in 2010. I play a Fender jag thru a Fender VibroKing amp... I also play a Taylor & Maton acoustic & use all FENDER Strings.
