(for the record, that's still 0%) | | Music | Right now, after a quick summary of my iPod, I'm listening to the Veronicas, the Postal Service, Bran Van 3000, Jets to Brazil, Esthero, Dusty Springfield, Franz Ferdinand, Jack Johnson, Matt Good, Oasis (the old stuff), the Rentals, Piebald, Robots in Disguise, Shakira and the Vines. | | Movies | All my all-time favourites are trilogies, pretty much: Indiana Jones, Lord of the Rings, Star Wars, Back to the Future. I also like the Harry Potter movies, just about anything from Tarantino, all Audrey Hepburn's movies, Pirates of the Caribbean (a soon-to-be trilogy), Amelie, any movie from the 80s that involves dancing (Flashdance, Dirty Dancing, Footloose, Fame). Basically as long as Will Ferrell or Ben Stiller aren't in it, I'll give it a chance. | | Television | The Daily Show for humor, Lost for suspense, CSI for knowledge of how to get away with crime, and ER in case I ever get appendicitis. Hello there, I'm Nicole. Some points about me:
- Undergoing a very premature mid-life crisis
- Feeling my biological clock ticking
- So not into the whole career-first thing
- Often paralyzed by laziness, especially on Sunday mornings
- Practising my parenting skills on two cats, failing miserably in the discipline area
- Married to a real rockstar of a guy for over three years now
- Banking heavily on the lottery
- Not a fan of Dr. Phil or Republicans or the "religious right" or yellow mustard or alarm clocks or Honda Civics
- A big fan of road trips and 90s music and sushi and buying new pants and swimming in the sea and visiting far-off places and plucking hairs out one by one
- Plan on writing a book but am leery of that whole rejection by publishers thing and am currently using that as an excuse not to start

Who I'd like to meet:
Anyone who can have a decent conversation, will not try to hit on me and doesn't use the letters 'ur' to mean 'your' (or you're, I'm not actually clear on which it's supposed to mean) which is possibly the stupidest thing ever. Also no-nos: substituting 'u' for 'you' (it's two extra letters!), putting a 'z' where an 's' should be at the end of a word and the improper use of the letter 'k'.
