Nicolette Fontaine is a Graduate with a Juris Doctor Degree from Law School at Nova Southeastern University. She worked for the Legal & Business Affairs Department at Warner/Chappell Music Publishing in Los Angeles California in 2003. Since 2007, Nicolette works part-time with Entertainment Law firm, Norman Gillis & Associates, in Nashville (MusicRowLaw.com) Nicolette now is a Certified Judge in the Miss Tennessee Scholarship Pageant circuit (through the Miss America system) - please visit http://misstennessee.org for my information on Competitions in the region. Ms. Fontaine is also now a Board member of the Artists Music Guild. She also works with Entertainment Industry Professionals and high-end residential & commercial real estate clients, as a Licensed Real Estate Agent throughout the Middle Tennessee & Greater Nashville region. Ms. Fontaine is an accomplished singer having studied Music at the University of Central Florida and performed for the Palm Beach Opera Company at the Kravis Center for Performing Arts in West Palm Beach. She has been an active member of the National Academy of Recording Arts & Sciences/Grammy Chapters since 2004. From 2004 through 2010, Nicolette has worked as an Artist Manager, Music Promoter and Artist & Public Relations Professional for accomplished Artist-Songwriters & Musicians in both Florida & Tennessee, having traveled to festivals, seminars, conferences and trade shows throughout the U.S., representing musical talent, securing their endorsements and sponsorships. Nicolette is a member of the Artists Music Guild, Sigma Alpha Iota International Music Fraternity, the Nashville Bar Association, and the FL Film Recording & Entertainment Council. Nicolette competed in the Miss Orlando, Winter Park and University of Central Florida Pageants (pre-liminary Miss Florida/Miss America), while she attended college at UCF. She won the Talent division Scholarship for her Operatic Performance/Vocal of Vissi D'Arte from Tosca in the Miss UCF Pageant. She studied classical voice with the Orlando Opera Director, Robert Swedberg at University of Central Florida and studied & performed with World Renowned Opera & Vienna Classical Conductor Maestro Anton Guadagno of the Palm Beach Opera. Her Platform competing in pageants was a combination of Music Therapy (volunteering & recruiting musicians to perform for Developmentally Disabled patients at hospitals in Central Florida) & Music Education/Arts Programs in Schools /Arts Advocacy. -
