I'm a song girl...give me a good melody, good lyrics...something interesting and I'm listening. I don't really care about the genre or how far it is up the charts...I just want to feel something when I hear it. I'm in to the new and the old...some guilty, some humbling, some necessary and some just plain enlightening. Everything that I listen to and like influences me...even the things I don't like influence me...doesn't everything? When I haven't slept or I drank too much or the weather is good or the weather is bad or especially if my relationship status is in disarray or if I have PMS and someone pissed me off... I'm influenced. I'm may even influenced by you reading this and liking or hating my music or I may even influence you to listen to something you've never heard before...so there you have it. Isn't it sort of beautiful? I may have never met you before and we could be influencing each other. That's probably the main reason I like myspace.

Once upon a time, June 18th 1980to be more precise, a severely inebriated crow happened upon the home of Cuban musicians, Lissette and Willy Chirino. The couple were having their typical musical swaree and the crow in his drunken stupor left them a very unplanned package, a child, whom theyd name, Nicolle.
Yes, with 2 "L's".
This was simply done so that she would have to correct everyone who ever had to spell her name and to punish her in advance for anything she may or may not do in the future.
So anyway...this child would then grow up to the unconventional life of a "rock star in training"...this would include various hotel and dressing rooms, recording studios, and even stages. She was also for brief moments at a time raised by her mothers gay dancers, backup singers, make-up artists and fans giving her an appreciation for glitter, The Bee Gees and a nice pair of shoes.
Her grandparents, Olga y Tony...oddly enough are also musicians...as are all of her 4 sisters, with whom she was in a band with for 4 years before inevitably breaking up due to "stuff".
In 2004, she won the first "Florida Grammy Showcase" for unsigned artists which begs the question as to why she is yet unsigned...but she has not let that discourage her and is going it alone and with YOUR HELP for the time being.

Nicolle has been in several bands since the ripe age of 12 and started playing the Miami music scene at 15 as a guitarist, singer, backup singer, bassist and yes, even a drummer. She is now signed to Universal Music Publishing as a songwriter and is in the process of writing, producing and recording her first full-length CD...as well as recording a record with her younger sister Alana Chirino in a band called STARSTEREO. Hi Nicolle, so I downloaded the Star Stereo tracks. I am enjoying listening to them, specially since they remind me of the time I interned at the studio. Glad to be able to finally get them on my iPod. Best of luck to Star Stereo in 2008!
