Nicony was born in 1979 in Mantua, a small town in northern Italy. He has been enrolled at the SIAE (Italian Society of Authors and Editors) since 2005. In love with music since he can remember, he started playing piano when he was just a little kid. When he turned 13 his dad bought his first guitar which became his instrument to discover many music styles. He dove into Jazz, Folk. Pop, Electronica, hard Rock with equal interest. An avid collector of many guitars, percussions and synths for years, he recently expanded his musical tools to encompass a digital Audio work station that sparked a new inspiration for electronic music. In the last years he has written and produced many songs in many genres but he found that his favourite genre is downtempo electronic music with a groove. In March 2007 he met Lilla Vietri, owner and A&R of KULT Records, an indipendent record label based in New York City who signed him up and his first debut Album "Living Life in Downtempo" has been released on major digital stores.
