We are nifty250,
... There are only so many things that can be said with words. For us, this band is about friendship, love and music. We ARE nifty250 . . . everything you hear and see is us. We're not trying to be popular or marketable . . . we just do what we love. We create songs that have meaning- to us; to others. We believe in the healing power that a good song holds. Music is meant to lift the spirit. Celebrate life; every part. Good times, tough times, youth, distances, relationships, space-girls . . . we've seen it all and accept it. We, try, to trap those . . . little pieces of our lives . . . in everything that is a part of this band and give them away. Recycle the love; We have recieved so much.
Above all we believe in each other, our friends, and families. We've created this out of nothing, but not without help. Everbody needs somebody. We've been blessed with many, truly great people in our lives.
this is where I thank you for reading our bio, checking out our myspace and "would you please send us an e-mail or leave a comment." ... don't let that distract you. There is much more . . . or much less going on here . . . down to the very core it's a very simple band. a very simple phrase. we are who we are;
nifty strikes a chord in my brain. you guys are the best band from omaha. hands down. you're probably the reason i picked up instrument in the first place.
I remember when Erik had to get singing lessons from Carmen & Jerad got a large number of people to read "Chocolate War" after Chocolate Warfare became such a great hit back then. I remember when you had a freewebs page and 'opened' for the movie School of Rock (:
I also remember when Nifty 250 had silly contests where winners got free admission.
