Hi, I'm Nigel Beck. A Leicestershire based 6 & 12 string fingerstyle acoustic guitar player. My main influences are Leo Kottke, Pierre Bensusan, Antonio Forcione and Eric Roche.
I love the propulsive flowing nature of Leo kottke's playing and Pierre Bensusan's beautifully crafted music with its classical/jazz/celtic feel are a delight. Antonio Forcione and Eric Roche also inspire me with their imagination and flair for composition and style. The music of Ralph Towner has also shaped and moulded my playing and writing with his deeply classical approach and performance style.These are but a few of the many players I admire and learn from. I hope you enjoy your visit to my page and my music.
I enjoy playing in many different environments, solo concert being my preferred situation but enjoy the challenge of many different playing opportunities.

you are so incredible..still want to know where shed men tune came from Nige?..i am blown off the planet with all your valuable input and time..borax is..hmm washing powders..ha ha//lysol..oh come on, it is a universal disinfectant..and liquid gold..oh man..that is my savior!!! it is a dusting polisher for wood!!! i am going to look into those mics you mentioned..and order something from musician friend..my dear soul friend and past producer, got pretty much thrown out into the cold on his studio..had to put everything in storage..years upon songs and years and gear...and we are so saddened..i have a new album ready to go..and serious prayers are needed here..pray the heavens manifest a new and better place will ya? in the meantime..i will just keep picking on through life tests eh? paintin' and pickin' yeah baby!!! love out to you & yours..i am honoured to be in your company..you are a super talent..as well as becoming such a lovely soul pal.. you got the Leo sheeeit..going on inside and out!! you get vid going on..looking so forward... thank you so much for all your help..i owe ya!! you are fashioned forever young kid! hey love bug..guitbox too fat Guild to wide) i think zeppelin used this particular guitar in song remains the saME? ..so i am getting a new mic instead FOR MY DEMO STUDIO..I HAVE an audio techinica now..that has to have a tube amp, phantom power deal..too mid rangy for me....(for now)..so i am investing in something else..aND STILL PLAYING WITH DIFFERENT 12 STRINGS! i will come to meet it..or it to me..this is such a major investment..so i don't want to jump the gun! i look forward to the vid kid!!! can't wait!! just taking a breather here from deep cleaning for the so called thanksgiving feast of a beast? Thanksgiving for me is every breath...and i am part Cherokee Indian so don't get me going!!! have small gathering coming...so it will be sweet and simple..with much gratitude..i am making a pure vegetarian deal...WITH LOTS OF VEGGIE DISHES FROM this years garden... Lysol and Borax & Liquid GOLD baby! potpourri and cinnamon sticks!! i am so nuts.. love out.. had some Leo on today..he helped get me through disinfecting the kitchen!!!!
