I am Mugger!
I bet you have seen me hangin' at the beach, which explains why you're reading this. Or you could just be one of my friends who is extremely bored and likes to read my 'About Me'. Whoever you are, I probably will like you.
No matter how hard you try, you can't define me. My personality changes almost as much as my underwear. I tend to change personalities a bit, but I can never stop being different. It's stuck with me like glue. It could be a good or bad thing. You decide. Usually, I'm calm and quiet, but some days, I just let everything loose. I can be quite crazy.
My interests include reading, traveling, surfing and going to cool gigs. I like good wine and will do sexual favors for a bottle. I also like the ocean.
I swim about 3 miles a week and run about 15. Wanna race?
No, I'm not a druggie or an alcoholic. I just have many flaws (are you perfect?). I will not try to perfect myself for you. It's hard for me to swallow my pride and say sorry, you should feel special if I sincerely apologized to you. I can be narcissistic at times. If I don't like you, I talk shit about you. Don't tell people I'm lying because most of the stuff I say is true. I do lie though. About what, you'll never know.
As you may already know, I was a run away at 15. Hung out in Hollywood with my best friend Rob Henley. He started to hang out with the Germs and became Darby’s lover. I did not think Rob was gay, we used have sleep overs as kids. Maybe I was not his type, or he was opportunistic.
I started to work for Black Flag and toured the country and world for over 5 years. I started the band Nig-Heist, and produced a really bad record. I am tone deaf and color blind. So I needed to do other stuff.
I started to work for SST records, as a fucking slave. I work 12 hours a day 7 days a week. But I loved it, it was really fun. Greg Ginn and Dukowski and had to do something about me. I was ready to move on! They gave me a 25 percent ownership of SST along with Joe Carducci. Awesome deal huh!
But Greg’s self destructive (one of his songs) personality did not work with me. Had to move on! A high school drop out—in the 9th grade—I started college. I graduated from CSULB with a Masters degree and a 3.95 GPA. I work for a large company as a mole, and have a great family. I also teach part time. Time to move on!
