Another training session in Washington DC is coming in May. We are in town for three days to train on Saturday and SUnday, May 15 & 16 from noon to 5PM.

The location for this two day session is at Axum Restaurant located at 1934 9th St., NW (on 9th between U and T).

To sign up for this valuable session, simply call Jennifer at the Restaurant Association of Metro Washington at 202-331-5990. Time is limited however, so don't delay. To receive a discount, send 5 or more employees.

Blurbs

About me:

We are the first training and consulting company focused on helping to reduce criminal, civil and administrative related liabilities. Lawsuits stemming from under-trained and over-bearing club or bar security workers or BOUNCERS cause nearly every lawsuit filed against their vey clubs and bars.

In 1998 we developed the first formal training program for the security workers of the alcohol service industry or bouncers. Currently, the training program is 11-hours in length and is totally job specific for security workers employed in bars, clubs, hotels, restaurants or any other alcohol sales locations.

We have trained over 5000 hospitality workers in our 10-year history. We have worked with local, state and federal officials as well as industry associations and community groups in over 17 states to essentially raise the bar regarding the alcohol service industry standard of care.

We conduct our training programs throughout the United States. We have clients from Anchorage, Alaska to Tampa, Florida and from San Diego, California to Burlington, Vermont.

*************************************************************************************************************************** We provide monthly traning sessions in San Diego for the San Diego County Food & Beverage Association. For any questions about our training program in San Diego or to schedule an employee, simply call the Food & Beverage Association at 619-228-2291.

We also provide our training session in the Metro Washington DC area every 5-6 weeks for the Restaurant Association of Metro DC and for the DC Nightlife Association. Our training program in the DC area has been reveiwed and approved by the Alcoholic Beverage Regulatory Agency(ABRA) and the Metropolitian Police Department.

For any questions about our training program or to schedule an employee in the District of Columbia, call the Restaurant Association of Metro Washington DC at 202-331-5990.

For any questions about our training programs, consultation services, our expert witness work or any of our other services, please call Nightclub Security Consultants at 619-997-6144.

Who I'd like to meet:

ATTENTION CALIFORNIA BAR AND CLUB OWNERS

The Governor of the State of California signed into law, Senate Bill 666 that will start mandating job specific security guard training for ALL security guards working in California starting in July 2009. What does this mean for California "Bouncers" or any other security guard working in a bar or club? Simple. Starting in July of 2009, every security guard must receive a minimum of 16-hours of job specific training. If you have any questions regarding this new law, please don't hesitate to call Nightclub Security Consultants at 619-997-6144.

HEY WASHINGTON DC.... Less than a week away from our next HOST Training Session. This 2-day, 10-hour session was designed with lowering alcohol liability in mind. SPECIFICALLY FOR "BOUNCERS" or HOSTS, this program has not only been reviewed by ABRA and MPD, they endorsed it's content. Don't let another informative and valuable session pass you or your staff by. It is the only program that is used by the Restaurant Association of Metro Wash DC and the DC Nightlife Association. For more information and to register, call Jennifer at RAMW at 202-331-5990 today.

For those of you looking for the best security and liability reducing training in the country, be sure to sign up for the session offered by the Restaurant Association of Metro Washington (RAMW), DC Nightlife Association (DCNA) and the MidCity Association.

This training session is titled, Hospitality Operations Security Techniques Training or HOST Training. The program is 2-days and a total of 10-hours long. It covers the topics that produce the most problems for clubs, bars and restaurants in the country. This is job specific training and can absolutely reduce calls for police service, reduce violence, reduce civil litigation and insurance rates. This dynamic training session will also provide employees with a sense of worth while providing direction should they encounter problems while working.

HOST Training has been reviewed and endorsed by ABRA and MPD and will answer questions that operators and employees have related to the legal and safe service of alcohol and issues surrounding conflict resolution and force. Every attendee will receive a certificate of completion and a useful training workbook.

Be apart of the trend to reduce alcohol related violence and issues normally associated with the hospitality industry. We have trained over 200 employees in the Metro DC area and would love to see your staff attend.

Saturday and Sunday, May 15 & 16 from noon to 5PM at Axum Restaurant at 1934 9th Street NW., Washington DC. Call Jennifer at RAMW at 202-331-5990 to sign up your staff. Receive a discount for signing up 5 or more employees.
