Catapulted out of the dead brainwave spaces of the late 1990s, Nightmare of the Elf has put the San Fernando Valley back on the map for the first time since Captain Beefheart! Combining the best of new wave, dark wave, and dork wave, Nightmare has been baffling and intriguing the denizens of the underground rock scene for years now, but promises in its new incarnation even more startling surreal energy! Like a scrambled egg briscuit tossed on the goth grills of 21st century madness by chefs such as Boyscouts of Annihilation, Cockeyed Ghost, Psychotic Cabaret, e-X-periment, and Cult of (un)leash, this sentence makes no sense! Have no fear! The band will not either, but you will find yourself chanting along to the madness of our grooveboxes! That sentence made no sense either! Always a strong mixture of performance art and post-Boingo ecologue (I just made that word up), we want you to come to our shows in strange costumes, tearing up stuffed animals, staging pillow fights, and dancing your wyrd ass off!
