I work out on a regular basis and like going for long walks. I build models; collect miniature airplanes and cannons. I also, collect Classic Baseball and anything associated with NASA.
I love to read, write and listen to music. I like to mess around with the guitar, piano and I own a set of drums.
I enjoy going to see good movies; plays; Rock concerts, the Symphony; Zoos; Wildlife Parks; Aquariums; Museums; Art Galleries; Planetariums; Arboretums; Botanical Gardens; Libraries; National Landmarks; Historical Sites; Amusement Parks; Halls of Fame and Sporting Events(Especially,Baseball and Hockey).
I am also in a Fantasy Football League...The C.F.F.L. to be exact...Go SOPWITH CAMELS! (2007 C.F.F.L. Superbowl Champions!)
I like to hit the open road and drive through the mountains; to the ocean or to any major city on the North American Continent. Someday, I would like to travel to Ireland; England; Scotland; Holland; The Czech Republic; Australia and New Zealand.
I am not a party animal...those days ended long ago. I could care less if I ever saw the inside of another bar. I enjoy a beer or two, every once in a blue moon, but I can take it or leave it...it doesn't control my life and it's not what I require to be happy or to have fun.

You Are Boston
Both modern and old school, you never forget your roots.
Well educated and a little snobby, you demand the best.
And quite frankly, you think you are the best.
Famous people from the Boston area: Conan O'Brien, Ben Affleck, New Kids on the Block
Friendly and down to earth, you want to enjoy Europe without snobbery or pretensions.
You're the perfect person to go wild on a pub crawl... or enjoy a quiet bike ride through the old part of town.

I am a 43y/o, left handed, flat footed, divorced Capricorn, who is the proud and doting father of a 11y/o girl. My daughter lives with her mother in Wyoming, but she does come and stay with with me, 2 to 3 times a year. Not being able to see my child every day of her life and watch her grow up has been the tragedy of my life. It's time lost that I will never get back. Yet, I am finally at peace in my life. Like everyone else in the world, I have suffered pain. I've learned from it and I have had enough of it. At this stage of my life, I am content to just smile, laugh and simply exist.
I have a warped sense of humor. I view situations and people the way most others wouldn't...I indeed, have a different perspective. Yet, I have a very deep understanding of life and people. I work the 11pm to 7am shift(On The Darkside) at the State Hospital(Bug House)as a Psychiatric Nursing Assistant(a.k.a. "Wildlife Management").
I am also an aspiring author. I am currently working on a novel in my spare time. I am also, working on a Childrens Book. The one thing I have learned is that no matter who you meet, you can always learn something from them. Everyone has a story to tell. One of the joys in my life is meeting new people and discovering all their talents and gifts they share with the world.
I'm also, an ordained minister with the Universal Life Church of Modesto, California. I am legal, by law, to perform weddings, funerals and baptisms. The only thing I am not legal to do is perform circumcisions, AND THANK GOD FOR THAT! But, as a member of the "clergy", I always repeat the mantra of my mentor and hero, Jim Bakker, when I say to all you women out there, and I quote, "When you help the shepherd, you help the flock." Hallelujah!
(Just kidding! LOL!)
If I had to label what my spirtual beliefs are, it would be an open-minded, Christian based, exisitential Unitarian Universalist. In other words, I believe in the power and magic of God, Life and Love, which, by the way, are all the same energy.
My newest endeavor is a Group I created on MySpace entitled, "LONE STAR ROCKERS - THE BANDS AND FANS!"
The idea for this group is for the people in the Lone Star State who love Rock & Roll, in all its forms, as a place to check out and see what’s going on, music wise, around Texas. Whether it’s the fans of Rock seeking music, new bands who are looking to get their names out there or established bands who just want to say thanks to the fans. This is the place!
If you haven't yet received an invitation from me to join the group, and you reside in the Great State of Texas...you will. If you want to join, make sure your personal settings will allow for Group Invitations.
